Carlton Barns Bed and Breakfast is situated on the Green, opposite the church, in the centre of the conservation village of Sandhutton, near Thirsk. The accommodation is attached to Carlton House, a former farmhouse dating back to the 1700’s.
The B&B is perfectly located for touring the stunning countryside of the North Yorkshire Moors and Dales, which offer unlimited walking and touring opportunities. From here discover the charms of local market towns, each with their own crafts and attractions, or visit York, Harrogate and Richmond for theatres, shopping and history. Whatever your interest there is plenty to do.
In 2010 the derelict outbuildings comprising the old Wash House, Stable and Tractor Shed were converted to provide unique B & B accommodation of double (king) and twin bedded rooms with en-suite bathrooms. The accommodation combines traditional buildings of charm, warmth and wooden beams with contemporary style and wheelchair access.
Whatever your reason for visiting, you can be assured of excellent food, a comfortable bed, personal attention and a very warm welcome.
